National Breast Care Nurse Directory
The McGrath Foundation is currently developing a National Breast Care Nurse Directory. The National Breast Care Nurse Directory will provide a comprehensive list of healthcare professionals who are currently working in dedicated breast care nurse positions, or who are regularly providing information and support to people experiencing breast cancer as a significant component of their current role.
The McGrath Foundation is committed to championing the breast care nurse profession. The Directory will have the following benefits:
- Improved networking and collaboration between breast care nurses.
- Improved referral pathways between breast care nurses and from other healthcare professionals.
- Improved ability for the McGrath Foundation and other key stakeholders to accurately direct enquiries from the public and healthcare professionals that occur on a regular basis.
- Promotion of the breast care nurses profession amongst health professionals and the general public.
The National Breast Care Nurse Directory will be housed on the McGrath Foundation website and be accessible by healthcare professionals, key stakeholders and in a limited capacity to members of the public. It would be the registrant’s responsibility to update their details on the directory as required to maintain the integrity of the directory.
